Furuya Building
Located in historic Pioneer Square, the Furuya Building is not only an architectural achievement, but a representation of the role of the Asian immigrant in a bygone era. Built in 1900 for Seattleās most important Japanese banker and businessman, the structure originally served as an import store as well as the Japanese Commercial Bank. The Furuya Building is currently undergoing restoration and will soon be available for commercial use.
